Dose-response of confirmed hits from ECBL screen for the identification of small molecules with antimalarial properties, for determination of their cytotoxicity towards human cells. HepG2 cells (ATCC-HB-8065) were plated in 384-well plates (2000 cells/well) and allowed to attach overnight. Compounds were added to cells (25 µM to 1,27 nM, 10 concentrations, 3-fold dose-response, duplicates) and incubated for 72 hours. ATP content in culture was detected by CellTiter Glo luminescence.
